What is the appropriate lens prescription that you can't ask about now?

Learn about the adjusting power of the lens! You will understand the appropriate lens to use for your intended working distance.

To choose the appropriate lens, you need to understand your working distance and know your own accommodation ability, and then select a lens with the corresponding power. Accommodation ability can be expressed in terms of lens power "D" (diopters). You can determine your accommodation ability by knowing your near point (the closest distance at which you can see small text clearly). Once you know your accommodation ability, you can identify the appropriate lens for your intended working distance. 【How to Measure Your Near Point】 ■ Put on glasses with normal vision or full correction. ■ Hold a fingerprint or a magazine about 10 cm away from your eyes. ■ Gradually move the fingerprint or magazine away from your eyes. ■ Measure the distance between your eyes and your hand when the fingerprint or text starts to come into focus. ■ The reciprocal of the near point distance will give you your accommodation ability: [100 ÷ near point distance (cm) = accommodation ability D]. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
